Seismic Hazard Maps of Bengkulu City, Indonesia, Considering Probabilistic Spectral Response for Medium and Stiff Soils

Background: This paper presents the extended work of a seismic hazard map for Bengkulu City, Indonesia. In this current study, maps are generated by considering site variations in Methods: First, investigation data is collected. Furthermore, probabilistic spectral response City analysed. The matching method implemented to obtain appropriate ground motion most dominant earthquake scenario that occurred. A analysis conducted several parameters, such as peak acceleration, acceleration values at 0.2 s and 1 s, amplification. Results: results show study area generally within range 0.5 0.6g. It indicates sites city could undergo strong motion. Spectral accelerations also dominantly found 0.9 1.2g 0.7g. Generally, amplify up 1.1 1.5. Conclusion: curve classes shows similar trend other accelerations. proposed be area.
